Here's Valerie as almost a yearling. I'm excited to see how she sheds out.
She is so easy to handle, she led the first day she was asked, she's easy to catch, work with & just a nice, nice girl!
This is a very athletic filly, she's turned out with young geldings & she runs circles around them, yet comes in from pasture when she sees you with a halter & is very well-behaved.
Dave is 6 ft tall, so you can see how tall she is already. He's got a lot of his weight on her in this picture, she didn't care one bit!
Remember, these picturers were taken in March, she's still got her winter "woolies" on!
Today is the first day she was tied, she felt the pressure, didn't pull back once, just relaxed & accepted the fact she was tied.
As you can see, she's pretty relaxed about everything!
These lower pictures were taken March 29, 2008. It's a very windy day & I didn't brush Val out,
but she's still a pretty thing! Still shedding out as you can see...
