My daughter Jil has a 3 year Fjord/Morgan filly that she's just started, she's been ridden in the drylot at home a time or 2.... Here's her first day out in the desert, being a real horse, she did great...
Dave is starting a dun gelding "Bodie". He looks gray in these pictures, but he's a roany dun with gray leg stripes, mane, tail & dorsal stripes He's only been out riding once before. He's an old hand at this aready! Nice, nice gelding....
Lulu didn't want to go down a hill, so Dave climbed on board & did a little "tuning", she went down that hill just fine after this picture was taken.
Here we are out early in the morning on day 2 of Lulu's desert trail-riding training. She's already an old hand at this!
Dave & Bodie taking a couple of breaks along the way... This gelding is a natural...
Back at the trailer after another great ride...
does Jil look proud of
her "Lulu"?
